Today is Mom and Dad's 34th wedding Anniversary. It is also my best friends 4th wedding anniversary. Congradulations to them both. We spent the day out at the lake. Just my parents, their kids and their kids kids. It was a really nice day to be out there.
I still haven't heard anything in regaurds to why Sis and I were let go from work. I guess the most frustrating part of the whole thing is the not knowing. It had nothing to do with skill and ability because the entire time I was there, 4 plus years, I got glowing reviews. We were both depended upon far more than the rest of the staff. The two of us know that agency inside and out. In some cases we are the only people who know how to perform certain tasks. And we were two of the highest paid employees working there.
Then I find out that after we left, the remaining employees were told they would get more hours and raises if they would commit to staying there for at least 7-8 months. I about cracked up when I found out at least one employee told her no. Some people do still have integrity. I am amazed.
