In the end there was a blessing.

Gramma let go early this morning, just before four am. After she was blessed she waited to be left alone for a few minutes and privately gave up her battle. She left behind her 12 children, 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, and uncountable extended family and friends. She was fiesty. She loved to talk. She taught me to draw. She collected barbies and enjoyed coffee and Keno at the local store. She thought she could take on the world and would probably try if she was provoked. She said what she thought, even if it wasn't always what she meant. She loved John.

Sleep easy gramma it's been a long ride. See you when I get there. We'll be fine.

Gramma can finally rest now. But She'll be around, watching over you. So, don't do any thing too naughty :)
